Nokia 6500 Slide & Nokia 6300 – The Masterpieces of Technology

Whenever people talk about the mobile phones, one name that prominently comes into the discussion is Nokia. Nokia are hailed as the manufacturers of world’s most quality rich mobile phones. Weight and Dimensions – Nokia 6500 Slide & 6300 are a class apart from other run of the mill handsets when it comes to design, weight and dimensions. The 6500 Slide has got the vital stats of 96.5 x 46.5 x 16.4 mm while 6300 has got the dimensions of 106.4 x 43.6 x 11.7 mm. While 6500 Slide has the weight of 125 grams, Nokia 6300 has got the weight of only 91 grams. It also comes loaded with 3G HSDPA network enabled technology that operates at an astonishing speed of 384 kbps. It also has built-in Bluetooth and USB port which ensures the users of better connectivity.

Messaging – With Nokia 6500 Slide user can send and receive text messages, picture messages and E-mails. Users can also enjoy the feature of Instant Messaging. On the other hand Nokia 6300 also gives the same features of sending and receiving text messages, picture messages, E-mails and even Instant Messaging.

Camera – The 6500 Slide phone has got a built-in camera of 3.15 mega pixels which can capture photos at a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. It has the Carl Zeiss optics and has got the features of autofocus, video (VGA 3gp@15fps) and even of flash. It also has got a secondary QCIF videocall camera. While the 6300 phone comes with a built-in camera of 2 mega pixels which again can capture the images at a resolution of 1600×1200 pixels.

Other features – In addition to all this Nokia 6300 has got built-in FM stereo radio, MP3 / MP4 / AAC / AAC+ / eAAC+ player and Java MIDP 2.0. On the other hand Nokia 6500 Slide has got the Stainless steel case with FM radio with RDS, built-in MP3 / AAC / AAC+ player and Java MIDP 2.0

Battery – Nokia 6500 Slide’s battery has got the standby time of around 310 hours while Nokia 6300 battery has got the standby time of up to 348 hours approximately.

The Cybershot range of camera focussed phones has expanded to include a new colour variant of the Sony Ericsson C905, this 8 megapixel camera phone has now been joined by a new bronze edition.

The Sony C905 Bronze holds all of the same amazing technology, features and specifications as the original black edition but exchanges the outer casing for a new bronze / gold finish. Originally, this new model was to be called the Sony Ericsson C905 Inca Gold, however it seems the retailers had other ideas and now will be officially known as the bronze edition.

The time has finally come when mobile phones with cameras are set to take on standalone digital cameras negating the need to carry two devices around, the Sony C905 faces competition from two other high specification camera phone from two different manufacturers, these include the 8 Megapixel LG KC910 Renoir and Samsung Pixon M8800.
