Sony Ericsson G900 – Music Phone With New Touch
Sony Ericsson G900 is one of the most stylish mobile with all the latest and innovative features. This mobile has bar form factor. This mobile is fully functional with buttons and ports on the sides of the mobile. This mobile is not fully touch enabled but has lot of touch reactive features. The navigation panel is used for pure navigation purpose and has some keys for special functionalities. The main screen and most of the applications gives 3 buttons, as in all the traditional phones and these buttons are touch sensitive. The number pad is very much similar to the non touch sensitive phones.
The dimensions of this touch enabled music phone are 106 x 49 x 13 mm and weigh around 99 grams. This cool mobile is available in dark red and dark brown colours. Dark brown coloured phone looks somewhat better than dark red.
Sony Ericsson G900 has a 2.4 inches wide TFT touch screen, which can display 256 thousand colours at a maximum resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It has a very high quality 5 mega pixel camera which can capture images at a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, with autofocus and image stabilizer you can capture great images and this phone can act as a perfect replacement for your digital camera. To help you capture images in dark it is enabled with flash. This camera can also be used to record great quality videos. This phone also has a secondary camera to make video calls.
Sony Ericsson G900 can operate in second and third generation networks. In second generation category it supports GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz frequencies. In third generation category it supports UMTS 2100. This phone is connected to the internet through GPRS class 10 (4 + 1 / 3 + 2 slots) which can download data at a maximum speed of 48 kbps. Since the mobile is enabled with 3G you can download at a maximum rate of 384 kbps. To share the data among the compatible devices it uses Wi – Fi 802.11 b / g, Bluetooth version 2.0 with A2DP, and USB version 2.0.
It is operated by Symbian OS, UIQ. It has a reasonable internal memory of 160 MB. If this is not enough for you then use the external memory stick Micro (M2). It has a high quality music player which can play popular file formats like MP3, AAC, and MPEG4. If you don’t wish to spend time on downloading or transferring music then just turn on the FM radio with RDS to enjoy the music present in air.
This phone has all the standard features of a mobile, some of the interesting features are document viewer, Opera web browser, Handwriting recognition, Business card scanner, picture editor, and much more.
It has a standard Li – Ion 950 mAh (BST – 33) battery which supports up to 380 hours of standby time and up to 12 hours of talktime.
