LG Optimus 2X it is the first smartphone in the world a dual-core (both announced and released). The achievement was recognized by Guinness World Records-the smartphone is Optimus 2X the dual-core first available to the public.
The Optimus 2X phone (international and Korea-only) was announced in December 2010. The Optimus 2X SU660 released in Korea on 25 January this year so the one that won the LG record.
This is always a great honor to make it to the Guinness World Records particularly with something important. We gave the LG credit for it. But we must recognize the phone was rushed a bit and released with the Android 2.2 Froyo.
Certainly early adopters who found it awesome, but when the dual-core other hit the market (running on Gingerbread), Optimus 2X beginning to look a bit unfinished and incomplete. Various bugs, and excessive battery drainage and lack of Android 2.3 Gingerbread trifle solvers deal.
Update Gingerbread to Optimus 2X expected this summer, but until then it’s a lot of customers will definitely have a phone with the competition. We think that’s the price you pay from the first.
