Which of these phones should I buy?
Hi, I have a LG U310 (prepaid) right now and the battery is so worn out, it just dies all the time if I take it off charger.
So, anyway, I’m looking for a new phone. I live in Australia and I am looking to be on a plan (preferably on Three services).
I really like bar phones and PDAs (and maybe even slider phones).
I don’t care about GPS, Skype, WiFi or email.. I am interested in a very large message storage capacity (1000 would be great), a good camera (more than 2MP) and I’d like the phone to look beautiful, have a large screen and resolution to be high. I’d love to be able to play good games on this. I really love the touch screens.. Large internal memory is a must like 4GB would be awesome. These are the phones I’ve been looking at in reviews:
HTC Touch HD (this is what I really, desperately want but I can’t find any Three stores that sell it!!! I don’t want to spend more than a grand on getting it prepaid and I heard the plans for it are $150 p/month.. *** who pays that much!?)
HTC Diamond (my favourite until I read about the HTC Touch HD… It’s great but the battery is bogus – only real problem & it lags apparently.)
Nokia N99
Blackberry Curve
Motorola Q9H
Samsung F700
Samsung i900
Garmin Nuvifone (as if that’s found in Australia though…)
and the LG Viewty KU990 and the Apple iPhone are definitely crossed out. The LG Renoir KC910 is a bit iffy to me (from what I’ve read on online reviews).
I’m getting desperate, I can’t go out with this dying phone I have now and I have class starting in a few weeks time. I need one. Badly.
