Motorola recently announced the availability of Motorola Android smartphone in India XT800. The handset is quad-band (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) network compatible, but works with CDMA / EVDO network. XT800 is Motorola’s first Android GSM / CDMA compatible devices available in India.
Also known as Motorola GLAM, XT800 originally launched in China in January 2010 and recently upgraded with a faster processor, launched last month in the same country as Motorola XT800 +.
It is unclear whether the new device launched in India is an upgrade version or the original XT800. However, the smartphone offers GSM / CDMA capacity and the Android operating system.
Motorola XT800 is supported by TI OMAP3430 550MHz processor and runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform out-of-the-box.
This unit is equipped with 3.7-inch TFT touch screen capacitive great with 16 million colors, 480 x 854 pixels, Gorilla Glass display, support for multi-touch, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate the UI, and automatic sensor exit.

It also features high-definition multimedia features that enable you to every important event record, “said the head of Motorola’s Mobility India Faisal Siddiqui.
It has a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash, geo-tagging, image stabilization and the ability to capture video (720×480 @ 24fps D1).
Another important feature of the original XT800 include: Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support GPRS / EDGE class 12, the CDMA Rev A, up to 3.1 Mbps, microUSB v2.0, 512 MB RAM , 1 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), stereo FM radio with RDS, GPS with A-GPS support and a digital compass.
Motorola XT800 available in India starting this week to Rs 31,999 (about $ 700).
