Sony Ericsson W580i is here to entice people with its robust music player and fascinating quality of sound. This handset is built in an attractive slider design. The walkman player of this gadget is similar to other walkman devices. The settings of the walkman include an equalizer, stereo widening, play lists, shuffle and loop modes. Album art is supported by the player but it does not recognize all the songs that it plays. The player works on airplane mode so that you can listen to your tunes even when the transmitter is kept off. Another addition is the ‘shake control’ application. By this application, the next music track can be approached while the earlier track is playing. The FM radio of the handset is also a good source of entertainment.
The handset gives a convenience for loading music. With the USB cable and Disc2Phone software, transferring music files from a secondary device to the phone is easy. You can easily copy music files from your PC and paste them in the memory of the W580i. Sony Ericsson W580i grey has an internal memory of 12MB. Also included is a 512 MB card. This leaves enough space for storing ring-tones even after saving music or video files. The Li-ion battery of the handset gives a standby of 370 h and talk-time of 9 h. The mobile is available in a range of colours such as metro pink, urban grey, boulevard black and style white.
