Officially introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 in Las Vegas, LG Optimus 2X expected to be available in the UK in March. Although details about the launch of the smartphone, which is rare, it seems the device is listed by online retailers and available for pre-order.
According to Play.com, Optimus 2X LG will be released on March 18, and has cost £ 469.99, contract-Fri
Moreover, Optimus 2X pre-orders are available in the UK three weeks ago, when smartphones introduce Expansys £ 499.99.
However, Expansys mentioned that LG Optimus 2X initially expected to be sent from February 21, but recently changed the release date for March 19. This makes it almost official, since both online retailers will ship 2X Optimus around the same date.
Among the highlights of the device, it is worth noting that the dual-core 2 Tegra system-on-a-chip found in 2X Optimus LG developed by NVIDIA and run at clock speeds of 1GHz.
Dual-core CPU offers low power consumption and high performance for playing video and audio.
In addition, users will experience faster web browsing and gaming is more subtle than the single-core processor running at the same speed.
Optimus 2X LG also offers 1080p HD video playback and recording HDMI. It also packs front and rear facing camera, microSD memory upgrade (up to 32GB), 8GB of storage (380 MB user available RAM) and a large 1500mAh battery.
The phone is HSDPA and HSUPA compliant and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP connectivity, DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) function, and GPS with A-GPS support.
According to LG, the phone will initially released Android 2.2 (Froyo) and will upgrade to the Android 2.3 (ginger). The Korean manufacturer vaguely stated that the upgrade schedule will be announced in the local market in time.

With all the press lately of the iPhone 4 antenna issues, I thought I' d do a little experiment to see if the issue was exclusive to the iPhone 4. By simply gripping the area where the antenna is on my phone, I managed to get the signal down from 5 bars to 2 bars. Before I recorded this video, I had managed to get it to just one bar. Sorry
