Motorola (NYSE: MOT) Wednesday launched a volley of mobile devices at a press event at the Consumer Electronics show, including new tablet device running Android 3.0, aka “Honeycomb.”

This launch comes one day after Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility divided into its own, a move that the market responded positively on Tuesday.

In addition to tablets, called “Xoom,” Motorola launches Cliq 2 and Bionic Droid handset and Atrix, which is the most powerful smartphone on the market from Motorola.

Large Honeycomb’s Yeah Yeah Yeah

Expectations were high around the tablet Motorola long before this week. In December, a teaser video will appear on the web implies Motorola has a tablet device in the store, and rumors suggest that it will Android 3.0.

“We created the market for tablet grown during the past 12 months seen, and I have been asked many times whether we enter this space,” said Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha Mobility audience.

Jha then prove that the rumors are true in the opening of Xoom. The Honeycomb rotate, the first version of Android is designed for tablet computers.

“It is designed for tablet-up basis,” said Jha.

The 1.6-lb. Xoom offers a 5 megapixel rear mounted camera 720p HD video as a 2 MP camera for video chat shows can catch. It runs on dual-core chips provide a total power of 2 GHz. The battery provides up to 10 hours of video playback, Flash can run 10.1 and contains 32 GB of memory onboard. Her DIMENSIONS are 9.8 by 6.6 by 0.5 inches. Diagonal, with a screen size of 10.1 inches.

In terms of network compatibility, Motorola plans to its first 3G-compatible Xoom launch in the first quarter of this year, the line with a 4G unit to expand in the second quarter. However, users of the 3G version finally are able to participate in 4G.

“All the 3G device will be upgraded to 4G,” said Jha.

Xoom will debut with Verizon Wireless as a mobile operator in the United States
Smartphone, Expanded

Xoom share the spotlight with a return offer a new Motorola: 4G Atrix, an Android phone that is compatible with various accessories which allows docking into a desktop or a form-factor, such as laptops.

The phone itself has dual-core processors 2 GHz of power and 1 GB of RAM, a leading Motorola to claim Atrix are to offer the world’s most powerful smartphone. “He also has a fingerprint reader for secure and fast locking and unlocking.

Perhaps the most striking feature of Atrix is its compatibility with various accessories that can turn them into devices more like a small laptop or desktop computer, as shown by Seang Chau, VP and chief software engineer at Motorola Mobility. The company offers a dock with a USB port and an HDMI terminal, allowing users to navigate the phone features a full-size keyboard, monitor and mouse. The unit is still fully supported by telephone, without the help of performance accessories.

Other accessories will provide a laptop form factor.

Using the docking accessory, users can communicate with the phone via a GUI, including desktops, including customizable windows GUI standard handset display. Functionality of the phone as an integrated capability to make calls, and desktop GUI is demonstrated running a full desktop version of Firefox and Flash 10.1.

The Atrix will only debut in the U.S. AT & T (NYSE: T) in the first quarter, which differs from the traditional close relationship Motorola with Verizon, that some of the boat Android phones Motorola has launched in the past year. With Atrix, AT & T seems to have a chat room to offer Android and the cooperation with Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) for exclusive U.S. rights to the iPhone to an end. High expectations that the Apple phone will be officially extended to Verizon in the coming weeks.
Runners-up

Two other smartphones make their debut on stage Motorola Wednesday: The Cliq 2 and Bionic Droid.

The Cliq 2 grew from its predecessors a variety of business-oriented features to offer the set of social functions. 1 GHz Android phone has a slide-out keyboard with diamond-shaped key layout, which facilitates easy typing Motorola claims. Users can use the device to a different profile to “home” work “and” weekend use. “

End of Motorola’s business is related to what is called “IT-friendly” feature for functions such as security and the calendar.

The Cliq 2 comes to T-Mobile on January 19.

If Atrix that Bionic its dual-core processors, although the container about half of memory in 512 Mb. The Bionic will have video chat 4G and HD video capabilities.

Did you have a look at the Motorola V8? If you liked that phone then there is good news for you. The company has recently launched its new phone which is Motorola V9. It is a gorgeous and stunningly sexy phone which not only has looks but also amazing features in it. So, you do not have to think that just because it is a sleek and smart phone, it is shallow from inside. It has certain great features that you can not find in every other phone. And besides these special functions, Motorola V9 has all the basic features that you wish to have in your new mobile phone.

To start with, the one thing that comes into notice in the new Motorola V9 is its expansive external screen. It has a wide display screen of 2.2 inches. It is a TFT screen which displays 256k colors and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The best part of Motorola V9 is that comes with a contextual touch interaction. Some of the themes and wallpapers and screensavers are loaded in this phone but you are always free to download your favorite stuff.

Another visible factor of Motorola V9 is that it has a great speed in user interface. This new product is specially designed to provide great speed also in USB transfer capability. And all this comes in a sleek phone. This flap phone is just 11 mm thin. Some people think that it is wider than the other phone but I think the features and the functions that are provided by it are worth digesting the wide look.

This sequel of Motorola V8 is build up with an operating system of Linux and Java. These can allow the user for additional applications. Along with that, you also get a great 2 mega pixel camera which can store up your memories for the entire life. You can transfer these pictures and videos on to your computer and share it with your loved ones too. The music player in Motorola V9 is also worth considering as its USP.

Delita asked:

My boyfriend is arriving to visit me from Japan (I live in the USA) and he is going to need a phone. I wanted to order the Virgin Mobile Oyster since it’s cheap and it comes with a 20 dollar card. However, my boyfriend will only be here for a week and then he’s coming back in December to visit. How long are virgin mobile phones active? Will the phone expire come December and I need to buy a new one?

On another note, I aquired a brand new Motorola KRZR Unlocked blue GSM phone. I’m wondering if I should present this to my boyfriend along with a prepaid SIM instead of going the Virgin Mobile route.

Thank you all so much for any advice.
