I downloaded the file, but when i send it to my phone, it adds it as an audio file and i do not have the option to set it as a ring tone.

it lets me add songs to my phone and apply them as ringtones, but the songs are too long, and i just want certain clips of it to play anyway? anyone know how to do it?
