Lack of Android 2.1 (at least) on the line of Sony Ericsson Xperia mobile phone is a sensitive issue for many people, and now there is a small piece of bad news for owners of the Xperia.

Although the previously promised that Android 2.1 update for the Xperia will begin the roll-out at the end of Q3, the timer is running low and Sony Ericsson have announced that they will require several weeks before the update was launched, set the date to late October.

In addition, also confirmed that the update will be launched out at different times for different configurations, which means that even could drag into November before you update Android 2.1, depending on the device you are using.
