Thursday, 10. February, sold Aldi Nord again the touchscreen phone Samsung S5230 star. The discounter has set the selling price at just under 95 euros without contract. With the package is a Bluetooth headset.

The cheap multimedia phone with its high-contrast 3-inch touch screen, a simple menu navigation, good phone features and a powerful MP3 player scored review at CHIP online. Also star finds himself in the entertainment category of the Samsung S5230 FM radio and a 3.2-megapixel camera. The memory can be expanded to 8 GB via microSD. The star wirelessly via Bluetooth (with A2DP Stereo profile) and cable does the direct data exchange with compatible devices. The Internet connection is in the EDGE speed, the faster UMTS technology supports the Samsung S5230 star not.

Nokia is regarded as a mobile phone giant, globally. Despite the presence of so many mobile phone companies, Nokia is still number one. This is because of the wonderful cutting edge technology adapted by Nokia s well as its sharp and clever marketing strategy. On the other hand the Nokia N95 was released before Nokia E90. This phone is highly advanced and features a slider mechanism that can open the phone in two ways. The biggest USP of the phone is the 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus. The camera also has a flash as well as a 20 x digital zoom.

The camera in Nokia N95 has a wonderful Carl Zeiss Optics Tessar lens. The integrated music player is highly powerful and is able to support various sound formats like, AAC, MP3 and WMA. The phone also has some connectivity options like, a USB 2.0 , a 3G, a Bluetooth, Edge technology, Pop Port, HSCSD as well as Wi-Fi.

Both the phones have some really good features that make both Nokia E90 and Nokia N95 suitable for mobile phone users.

Nokia is known for its range of compact and sleek mobile phones. The company has recently launched a number of handsets into the mobile phones markets that have got wide public acclaim the world over. Most of its current devices do not weigh more than 120 gm. Nokia’s high end smart phones have become a status symbol for many. One may find individuals around her or him who are die hard Nokia fans. The N96i is reported to be having 4 GB of built-in memory that could also be expanded by using a microSD memory card in case of a memory shortage. The handset will soon be available in the markets around the world. The device will come packaged with a wall charger, a battery and a USB cable.

On the other hand, Nokia N98 is a smart phone which is expected to be loaded with many useful multi media features. The handset reportedly features a 7 mega pixel camera which is equipped with a Carl Zeiss lens. It reportedly has x5 optical zoom and x20 digital zoom. The device is said to feature a 3.5 inches, 16 M colours VGA touchscreen display. It would be running on a Symbian S70 (3rd Edition) operating system. The handset is reported to have support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity. It is reported to be equipped with a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver and a Graphics Accelerator.

The N98 would come packaged with an international battery charger, a Bluetooth headset and a reference manual. It would initially be sold in back colour. Some more variants of the device in other colours may also be launched by Nokia in due course of time. Both N95 and N98 have been developed keeping in mind the requirements of fashion conscious and high profile individuals. These two smart phones promise a never before mobile telephony experience to the users. Like the other N series handsets, these two handsets will be compact and light weight. The handsets will soon be available in the UK markets with a Nokia warranty . The company is known to offer excellent after sales service to its users.

Both Nokia N96i and Nokia N98 mobile phones have not yet officially been released by Nokia Corporation. However, some cloned models of these two handsets are being sold in Chinese and some other markets of the world. Nokia says that the two handsets will soon be available for sale in the markets the world over. One can also acquire these handsets under various mobile phone deals that are announced by the retailers in the UK from time to time. These Nokia N series handsets are sure to appeal to a fashion conscious user as they have a sleek and smooth look.

Previously we have seen pictures of the Samsung GT-i8700 before, and now more pictures (including demolition) of these phones has come, thanks to the people over at the FCC, hopefully a sign that we phone in stores in the U.S. see immediately. The i8700 has been touted as the Omnia 7 and clearly will be supported by Windows Phone 7. FCC reports confirm that the phone will be GSM / EDGE 850/1900 WCDMA bands and bands II and V support, making it suitable for AT & T. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support is also included, and it will be supported by the processor 1GHz Snapdragon. One thing that seems different is that it will reduce the internal memory is soldered onto the motherboard of the device; unlike most WP7 devices out there that microSD cards for storage.

Samsung Beats HTC Windows 7 Phone Market Dominance

HTC has a long and profitable history with smartphones. This is a clear leader with Windows Mobile, particularly as an OEM for other brands. It also led the way with Android. Unfortunately for Taiwan companies, who snatched the crown is because Samsung is a great leader in the arena Phone Windows 7.

Based on the poll very unofficial Windows 7 users on WMPoweruser.com phone, Samsung has a market share of 51% on phone Windows 7, compared with 37% who currently holds the HTC. Completion of the top four is LG (9%) and Dell (3%). We have to wait some more official figures, but this is really enlightening.

Samsung is aggressively pursuing the smartphone market throughout the year. It knocked out instead of the HTC-4 in sales of smartphones in the world (in Q3 2010, anyway), largely due to the more popular lines of S Galaxy Android smartphone. Windows 7 Phone only puts a feather in the cap-Korean electronics maker.

HTC is slowly going the way of Nokia? A little too pleased with its market share, only to see other manufacturers get up and grab their customers?

The latest Motorola Sidekick Slide almost same as its predecessor with a measurement of 5.1 by 2.6 by 0.9 inches and a weight of 6.5 ounces. Of course the new Sidekick is a bit longer and heavier than its predecessors in spite of being a bit slim. The new model comes with a screen that rotates 180 degrees to reveal the keyboard underneath, no longer bulges out from the rest of the phone. The smart phone in its new version seems to be more natural during the conversation.

There is also a change in the place of the microphone and the speaker as both are now reversed in this new model Motorola Sidekick Slide. The availability of bumpers in a variety of colors has made it more attractive. The camera function existing in this is so realistic that while taking a photograph, it seems like an original camera.

The Sidekick II follows essentially the same 2.75-inch-diagonal TFT display as its predecessor model. The screen is a higher resolution on the slide, looks like the screen shot is common, but the rest of the info matches up. The attractive feature of this model is the readability of the 65,000-color screen in direct sunlight. The T-Mobile Sidekick II’ have the familiar Jump and Back buttons same as its predecessor. But the latest model comes with a four-way directional control on the left side of the phone that lights up when a call or message is received.

The T-Mobile Sidekick II robust feature set is almost the same as the predecessor. Motorola Sidekick has a host of messaging applications, including email and instant messaging features. It has the ability to store 2,000 contacts along with other attractive features like a notepad, a calendar, a to-do list, 12 polyphonic ring tones, and a vibrate mode. It has a 1.3 Megapixel camera, music player, and microSD slot for added storage. The Sidekick also has a USB port, making things easier.

American Company Sling Media have now rolled out the ability to watch TV on your Handheld Blackberry Device. News was released at this years Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show. Blackberry users can now watch their TV on the go and anywhere in the world.

You might have heard of the Slingbox by Sling Media. The technology transmits a signal from you home television to your high speed broadband service. This will allow you to receive TV on your Blackberry, anywhere there is a broadband connection. Its been around since 2005, however the ability for it to be used with your Blackberry device has just come on to the market.

By downloading and installing the firms software called SlingPlayer onto your Blackberry, you will never miss watching your favorite TV program again. The software also allows you to control the Slingbox from wherever you are in the world. Motorola Z10 is an outstanding phone with lot of features in it. It is a power packed phone with almost everything for everyone. It has a larger screen of 2.2 inches which produces 16 million colors with crispier brightness and contrasts and it helps in the great viewing experience.

The Z10 has a good 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus, xenon flash and it records video at a rate of 30fps! This is near DVD quality video recording on a mobile phone! There is also a secondary camera located on the front of the phone, this is primarily used for making and receiving video calls with 3G technology.

The handset houses a very familiar UIQ interface, its only characteristic feature in the Z10 is the Task list, which always holds 5 recent applications – to bring it up tap and hold the Home button.

Menu navigation was never an issue with this phone – everything is very straightforward and easy to move about if you have had some experience with a smart phone powered by Symbian before. The handset comes equipped with Opera 8.5 for the default web-browser. At present this is the best browser available for this kind of device, the only challenger is S60′s browser version two.
