Update for Samsung Epic 4G Android 2.2 Froyo

Not in the first wave of people who get Android 2.2 OTA for your Samsung 4G Epic? Instead of waiting, we’ll tell you how to manually update your device so you can get your Froyo. It is a fairly easy upgrade, so do not be discouraged if you’re not hacking the phone type.

Download the Android 2.2 Froyo update file
If the file is not “update.zip” already given, do so now. Make sure it is not named update.zip.
Place the file in the root of the SD card (not inside folders)
Turn off the phone.
Keep reducing power, volume, and the camera button once.
With the volume down, go “sdcard Apply: update.zip”and press Start to upgrade.
Restart your phone.

Your Samsung Epic 4G has been successfully updated to Android 2.2 Froyo so much fun!

LG Star, Android-based smartphone that makes the headlines several times lately, has just one other appearance in the game, this time in a video hands-on, so we have a better idea of what this unit is all about.

There are many rumors about his attempts to LG in the market with an Android-based smartphone that will be impressive enough to push into the market, and LG may be the star.

The handset will indeed be carried out under a sense of the Android or not, remains to be seen. However, one thing that seems certain now is that a pack 2 Nvidia Tegra chipset.

Basically it will allow a superior level of performance, provide that no Android devices on the market, such as S Galaxy, and even to other handsets, including the iPhone Apple 4, some suggest.

Of course there are still some details that are not on the new phones based on Android, including information known about when it will be released on the market, or at what price, but must be started immediately.
