Samsung Solstice II Announced For AT & T

If you like the drop-down, be it movies, video games, books or (gasp!) mobile phone, then you might want to check out Samsung Solstice II from at & T. This will not delete or change the earth sky at all, but offers more mid-range appliances for the masses with skin Samsung TouchWiz user interface runs on the operating system. Equipped with a side sliding QWERTY keyboard, it will certainly find grace in the eyes messagers often. Other features include 3-inch WQVGA (240 × 400 pixels) touchscreen display, 2-megapixel camera, (yuck!) 7 .2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, GPS navigation, Bluetooth 2.1 and a microSD memory card slot for expansion of the service. Like other good AT & T-branded phones, this offers AT & T social safety net, AT & T Navigator, and AT & T Music and radio with the option to download an application form from AT & T AppCenter. The price to be paid? A very reasonable $ 29.99 with 2 year contract. The objective for this wake up 7 November, this seems to be a simple mobile phone is pretty good, although we would like a higher number of megapixels in the camera Department.

DROID 2 Error Allows Voice on State-Protected Access Security Code

DROID 2, a high-end phones launched by Motorola in the continuous improvement of the ether Verizon Wireless’, sporting some security holes that allow someone Google Voice action to perform on the handset, even when the handset is locked and the access code is activated.

Apparently the problem was seen with all shares, graft without roots DROID 2 devices, and that it can affect all Motorola phones running Android 2.2 with a blur.

According to a new article on BGR, one of their readers discovered a problem on his phone. Moreover, news website published the video below, so we can see how to realize the problem.

Basically, when DROID 2 locked with password prompt is displayed, a press and hold the “search” or soft-key keyboard for four seconds, a step that would lead to the Google Voice of action.

What is interesting is that the handset is not to inform the user in a way that the option is enabled.

Once Google voice activated action DROID can call from 2 to just say “Call X” (contact name) or “Call xxx” (figure).

It seems that only the Motorola phones will be affected by this issue and that can only be present with those who partner with Android 2.2 Froyo Blur Motorola user interface.

This is not the first Android-based devices from Motorola is affected by similar issues, such as original DROID reported the same problem in early 2010, soon established.

At that time, the pattern of the handset screen lock, which should be active when the call is in progress, for example, could have one, press the Return key when in a conversation, a movement that full access to applications and menu of the device will offer.
